About

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY
I live and predominantly work in Meanjin, on the land of the Turrbal people. I also have the privilege to work on diverse land and sea countries. I pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. I recognise their long and continuing care for the land and sea.

LITTLE WILD LINES

Little Wild Lines is an art project by Bella Reboul which aims to inspire and educate, while giving back to nature and conservation efforts. Bella studied a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and is now doing a PhD in marine biology, specialising in marine mammal welfare. Bella also has a passion for freediving and underwater photography, where she finds much of her inspiration for her work.

ART

Our art aims to evoke passion and curiosity for the natural world. This is done through a combination of water colour and ink. All original art works are produced on 100% cotton, 300gsm paper, unless otherwise stated. Prints are produced on a thick, 100% cotton paper with archival quality Epson Ink. If cared for properly, your art purchases should outlive you.

APPAREL

A t-shirt should be able to go through everything. Coffee date spills, workouts, ran-out-of-pyjamas, camping, and of course the sand and surf. This is why we only use the highest quality 100% cotton from the Better Cotton Initiative.

Our shirts are trialled and tested, at home and in the field. We can say with confidence that they hold up to the elements (but have not withstood an angry turtle, sorry.). They are printed by a local family business in Brisbane, and made to order to reduce waste. This means they may take a little longer to arrive than your favourite fast-fashion brands. But trust us, the wait is worth it.

Our canvas bags are 100% cotton canvas and perfect to carry some combination of your laptop, water bottle, coffee cup, books, lunch, keys (so that's where they were) or those 'couple' of groceries you picked up on the way home that somehow you can't carry while you try to unlock your car.

Our hoodies are currently 80% cotton and 20% recycled polyester anti-pill fleece. While we know polyester isn't ideal, each hoodie saves approximately 4.5 500ml plastic bottle from landfill, so you can stay warm without harming the planet!

All our products are made from plants. No animals around here!

10% OF PROFITS TO CONSERVATION

10% of our profits are proudly donated to Australian conservation projects. Currently, we are donating to the Tangalooma EcoMarines. The EcoMarines work with over 90 schools in South East Queensland to "inspire and empower students to become conservation leaders". Children are the future of our planet and inherit the decisions we make today. EcoMarines directly engage with school students of all ages to champion for marine conservation, encouraging them to become environmental ambassadors in the community.

ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT

We are conscious to tread lightly, and hope your purchases encourage you to, too. We strive to produce the least amount of waste possible, and are always looking to better ourselves. We try to use products and suppliers that align with our ethos wherever we can and pay to offset carbon on every order. We also try to use recyclable and/or compostable packaging and postage. We are learning and growing - if you have any ideas on how we can do better, please get in touch at hello@littlewildlines.com
